Here’s a great way to get some:
Tuna and sardine patties

And this dish uses storable, shelf stable protein. Good to whip up when you didn’t defrost any protein…

– 1 can tuna (in olive oil or water)
– 1 can sardines
– 1 large onion
– 1 zucchini
– 1 sweet potato 
– salt
– pizza spice: oregano, paprika, pepper
– 2 eggs
– 1/4 cup almond flour
– tallow or butter for frying

Sauté onion in tallow or butter until translucent. Add graded sweet potato and zucchini. 
Strain canned fish and place in a bowl. Break up the fish into small pieces. 
Sauté onion, zucchini and sweet potato until nice and brown. 
Place in the bowl. 
Add eggs, flour and spices. Mix well. 
Add tallow or butter to frying ban and heat to a medium heat. 
Make patties with your hands and place them in the frying pan. Cook for 3-4 min on each side, until brown.
