- Garlic: For many herbalists, this is the herb to take if you are stuck in the desert with no plants. It has powerful antiviral, antimicrobial, antiseptic and anti-fungal properties. This means that it fights any invader that might be a threat to your health. Fire cider recipe:

Place all the ingredients in a wide-mouth jar. Cover with high-quality vinegar. Allow infusing for two weeks on a sunny windowsill. Stain and label.
