The other day I was stroking my daughter on the cheek and her reaction was: “Stop mommy! You’re scratching me…”. Did that ever happen to you? That your hands get so dry they feel like sandpaper?
For such a rough situation I had to pull out the big guns: olive oil, shea butter and vitamin E.
There are all very nourishing for dry skin.

This wonderfully rich balm smooths the skin and does not feel sticky or oily, thanks to the shea butter. I keep a jar next to the sink and apply after I wash my hands to keep the moisture in.
For acute situations apply before bed and put on a pair of gloves. You will be amazed by the results in the morning.
Ingredients:
100 grams shea butter
50 grams olive oil
20 drops vitamin E oil (optional)
10 drops essential oils (lavender, geranium, eucalyptus)
Instructions:
Place all measured ingredients in an immersion blender container and blend together.
Pour into clean jars. The balm will harden a little as the blending warms it a little.
Use and enjoy!
