Reduce Symptoms Of Cough By Adding This Recipe To Your Bath!

Eucalyptus is a fast-growing evergreen tree that is native to Australia. As an ingredient in many products, it is used to relieve cough, cold, and constipation symptoms. It is also found in creams and ointments designed to relieve muscle and joint pain.

This super simple DIY bath bomb is perfect for winter. It can ease muscle soreness and prevent or reduce symptoms of cough!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup baking soda

  • ½ cup citric acid

  • ½ cup Epsom salts

  • ½ cup Corn Starch

  • 3 tablespoons coconut oil

  • Essential oil (eucalyptus & peppermint)

  • Soap coloring

Directions:

  1. Mix all dry ingredients together in a bowl.

  2. Mix it well and make sure that all of the ingredients are incorporated well.

  3. Add in your coconut oil and mix it again.

  4. Add the essential oils about 10-20 drops (depending on how strong you like the fragrance)

  5. Add soap coloring or pigment in the color you prefer and whisk well.

  6. Spray some water into the mixture. Mix your bath bomb mixture while spraying the water to avoid reaction on the citric acid. (3-5 sprays will do)

  7. After spritzing three times, pick up with mixture in your hand and form a ball. If it crumbles apart, continue adding water one spritz at a time until it holds shape.

  8. Once the mixture forms a ball and holds shape, place a generous amount into a bath bomb mold and secure both sides.

  9. Let it dry for 24 hours.
